Whether you’re a passionate lifelong horticulturalist or an enthusiastic novice we’ve created a bespoke area to answer all your queries and provide friendly, green-fingered advice. With more of our customers seeking expert answers to gardening queries, we will be able to share with you what we grow, how we grow and how you can recreate a Petersham oasis for yourself. We’ve restored our largest propagation glasshouse to showcase our in-house growing, alongside a shop dedicated to everything needed to nurture, protect and care for your plants and garden.
Stocking a select range of garden tools chosen as trusted favourites by our own Plant Team and a key range of gardening sundries to complement the propagation and growing of your own plants, we have sourced products with the same care as the plants - seasonally selected and stocked to ensure our customers go home only with the highest quality products. Garden essentials include everything from gardening gloves, to plant supports, ties and twine. Whilst the fertilisers and pesticides have been selected to ensure they are made with only natural or organic ingredients, that are not harmful to the soil, insects and birds.
It has always been our aim to run a nurseries that inspires and teaches, regardless of age or skill – and to enjoy the quality of life that gardening can bring.
This year we’re growing ever more unusual, less readily available specimens, simultaneously trialing a variety of natural and sustainable gardening solutions.
In line with this, the new space will host a variety of
seasonal gardening workshops, clinics and exclusive
garden design consultations throughout the year. As well as inviting you to take advantage of a number of new planting services: including free container planting and delivering plants directly to your door.
