A relaxed and indulgent brunch is a great Aussie tradition and one which Bill Granger,
Sydney based, internationally renowned, restaurateur, food writer and broadcaster, has deliciously honed. His three eponymous restaurants in
Sydney are justifiably feted for their breakfast and brunch dishes and it is a selection of bills classics that guests will feast upon in the idyllic and tranquil setting of Petersham Nurseries.
What better way to pass a Friday morning in late July than by sitting at tables around a sparkling fountain, beneath fragrant Indian tatti shades, savouring a wonderful brunch cooked in Billís honour by fellow Australian, Petersham Nurseries head chef, Skye Gyngell.
Joining Bill and Skye will be a number of high
profile compatriots; avid bills fans. With the weather
London is experiencing at the moment, they could be forgiven for imagining they were back home.
